Born in Rockledge Florida, I was influenced from birth by my father, the rocket scientist, in all things science and science fiction. As a baby I toddled the halls of NASA mesmerized by the rooms of giant, chugging and blinking computers. Watching rockets take off for the moon was considered a regular event to my family. Star Trek and Star Wars were my first big concepts in the world of make-believe, not the usual princess fairytale. Of course when Harry Potter came along and shook fantasy in my face, I began to imagine a world where all things belonged, magic, science, science fiction and realism. The possibilities are boundless, science and time lend themselves nicely to the world of make-believe and solidify that magic might one day, truly be possible.
